Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 24 October

Sales activity in Perth increased by 19 per cent over the week, with 627 transactions recorded.

This increase was due to a 15 per cent rise in house sales, a 22 per cent rise in unit sales, and a 44 per cent rise in vacant land sales.

Listings for sale

The total number of properties for sale in Perth lifted by two per cent over the week to 14,092.

Listings for houses, units, and vacant land all increased by three, two, and one per cent respectively.

The total number of listings recorded this week is six per cent higher than four weeks ago and six per cent lower than the same time last year.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported that the total number of properties available for rent in Perth declined by a one per cent over the week to 9,402.

This figure is four per cent lower than levels seen four weeks ago and 11 per cent lower than the same time last year.
