Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 14 November

Sales activity in Perth increased 13 per cent this week, with 633 sales recorded.

This improvement in sales volumes can be attributed to a 16 per cent increase in house sales and 12 per cent increase in unit sales. Vacant land sales were stable.

Listings for sale

There was a minor one per cent increase in the total number of properties for sale this week.

Listings for houses and units both increased by one per cent, while vacant land listings increased by three per cent.

This week’s total listings figure of 14,735 is seven per cent higher than four weeks ago and four per cent lower than the same time last year.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported that listings for rent increased to 9,424 over the week.

This is one per cent lower than four weeks ago and 12 per cent lower than the same time last year.
