Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 28 November

Sales activity increased by three per cent in Perth this week, with 579 reported transactions.

This lift in sales is because of a four per cent increase in house sales and a seven per cent increase in unit sales. Vacant land sales decreased by nine per cent.

Listings for sale

The total number of properties for sale in Perth increased to 15,015 this week.

Listings for houses remained stable, while unit listings decreased by one per cent and vacant land listings increased by one per cent.

This week’s total listings figure is six per cent higher than four weeks ago and five per cent lower than the same time last year.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported that the total number of properties for rent was stable over the week at 9,357.

This figure is similar to levels recorded four weeks ago and 11 per cent lower than the same time last year.
