Do the banks have it wrong?
We have been seeing reports from banking analysts stating it is inevitable that Perth will follow the Easter States markets down. Given we are the most affordable City for housing, you would have to question whether this will change the market significantly – especially given listings are now 14% below this time last year and a whopping 32% below the 5-year average.
Spring is here, and we are seeing huge numbers of people from the flats heading up our way, and why not? Is this the most glorious place to be in Spring? Migration is strong and an inflow of new Perth residents is keeping demand high. In the Hills, we are still seeing lots of buyers, lots of buying pressure and very little change in prices.
