Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 19 September

Sales activity increased by four per cent in Perth over the week, with 583 transactions recorded.

The overall increase in weekly sales is attributed to a five per cent lift in house sales and a seven per cent increase in vacant land sales. Unit sales declined by four per cent over the week.

Listings for sale
The total number of properties for sale in Perth increased by a marginal one per cent over the week to 13,206.

Listings for houses and vacant land both increased by one per cent, while unit listings remained stable.

The total number of listings recorded this week is unchanged in comparison to four weeks ago and eight per cent lower than the same time last year.

Perth rental market
REIWA members reported that the total number of properties available for rent this week was stable, holding at 9,986.

This is three per cent lower than levels seen four weeks ago and seven per cent lower than the same time last year.
