Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 29 August

Sales activity in Perth increased by two per cent over the week, with 558 transactions recorded.

This lift in weekly sales is attributed to a three per cent increase in house sales and a four per cent increase in unit sales. Vacant land sales were stable over the week.

Listings for sale
The total number of properties for sale in Perth remained steady over the week, holding at 13,304.

Listings for both houses and land were unchanged, while unit listings increased by a marginal one per cent.

The total number of listings recorded this week is one per cent higher than four weeks ago and five per cent lower than the same time last year.

Perth rental market
REIWA members reported that the total number of properties for rent in Perth declined over the week to 10,187.

This is four per cent lower than levels seen four weeks ago and eight per cent lower than the same time last year.
