Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 21 November

Sales activity in Perth decreased by nine per cent over the week, with 575 property sales recorded.

This decline in activity is attributed to a 10 per cent decrease in house sales and a 25 per cent decrease in vacant land sales. Unit sales increased by seven per cent over the week.

Listings for sale

The total number of properties for sale in Perth increased to 14,973 over the week.

Listings for houses and units both increased by two per cent, while vacant land listings decreased by one per cent.

The total number of listings recorded this week is six per cent higher than four weeks ago and four per cent lower than the same time last year.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported that the total number of properties for rent increased to 9,374 over the week.

This figure is similar to levels recorded four weeks ago and 12 per cent lower than the same time last year.
