Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 31 October

Sales activity in Perth increased by eight per cent over the week, with 677 transactions recorded.

The lift in sales is attributed to a six per cent increase in house sales, a nine per cent increase in unit sales, and a 17 per cent increase in vacant land sales.

Listings for sale

The total number of properties for sale in Perth was stable over the week at 14,149.

Listing levels for houses and units were both steady, while vacant land listings increased by two per cent.

The total number of listings recorded this week is eight per cent higher than four weeks ago and four per cent lower than the same time last year.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported that the total number of properties for rent in Perth declined by one per cent over the week to 9,328.

This figure is four per cent lower than four weeks ago and 11 per cent lower than the same time last year.
