Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 7 November

Sales activity in Perth declined by 18 per cent over the week, with 558 transactions recorded.

This drop-off in sales was experienced across the board, with house sales falling by 18 per cent, unit sales by 22 per cent and vacant land sales by 10 per cent.

Listings for sale

The total number of properties for sale in Perth increased to 14,494 over this week.

This was due to house and unit listings lifting by two per cent each and land listings increasing by three per cent.

Listings levels in Perth this week after eight per cent higher than they were four weeks ago and four per cent lower than they were at the same time last year.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported that the total number of rentals available in Perth continued to stabilise at 9,359.

This figure is three per cent lower than it was four weeks ago and 11 per cent lower than the same time last year.
