Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 19 December

There was a six per cent increase in sales activity in Perth this week, with 562 transactions recorded.

This increase is attributed to a two per cent lift in house sales, an 11 per cent lift in unit sales, and a 42 per cent lift in vacant land sales.

Listings for sale

There were 14,128 properties for sale in Perth this week, with listings for houses, units and vacant land all decreasing by three per cent.

This week’s total listings figure is six per cent lower than four weeks ago and six per cent lower than the same time last year.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were 9,124 properties for rent in Perth this week.

This figure is three per cent lower than four weeks ago and 13 per cent lower than the same time last year.
